These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Ankh ("the app", "we", "our"). By downloading or using Ankh, you agree to these Terms.
Ankh is a personal fitness tracking application that aggregates health data from Apple HealthKit and connected devices, allows manual workout and nutrition logging, and provides AI-powered analysis of your fitness data. The app is designed for personal, non-commercial use.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ankh. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's consent to use the app.
You may use Ankh without creating an account (local-only mode). If you choose to sign in with Apple for cloud sync, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account.
Free tier: Ankh offers basic fitness tracking features at no cost, including dashboard, HealthKit sync, manual workout logging, and food tracking.
Ankh Pro: Additional features are available through an auto-renewable subscription:
Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or through the Manage Subscription option in the app's Settings.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Price changes: Prices may change. We will notify you in advance of any price increases. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Ankh is not a medical device. The app is designed for informational and motivational purposes only. Data displayed in the app (including recovery scores, sleep analysis, strain, and AI-generated insights) should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your exercise, nutrition, or supplement routine based on data shown in the app.
AI-generated insights and coaching recommendations are based on pattern recognition in your data and may not be accurate or appropriate for your individual circumstances.

The Ankh name, logo, and app design are our intellectual property. You may share cards generated by the app (which include the Ankh watermark) on social media and personal channels. You may not use the Ankh brand, logo, or design elements for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Ankh integrates with third-party services including Apple HealthKit, Anthropic (Claude API), and Supabase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ankh and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, health outcomes, or any other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the app.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that health data will be accurate or complete.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
