Terms of Use

Operator: Ankh is operated by ANKH LLC, a limited liability company registered in Georgia (Tax ID 405863506), with its registered office at Vazha-Pshavela Ave. 76b, building 47, Tbilisi 0186, Georgia.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Ankh ("the app", "we", "our"). By downloading or using Ankh, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Ankh is a personal fitness application that reads health data from Apple HealthKit and connected devices, allows manual workout and nutrition logging, and provides AI-powered analysis of your training, nutrition, supplements and recovery. The app is designed for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ankh. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's consent to use the app.

3. Account & Security

You may use Ankh without creating an account (local-only mode). If you choose to sign in with Apple for cloud sync, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Free tier: Ankh offers core fitness tracking at no cost and with no subscription: the dashboard, Apple Health sync, manual workout logging, food and supplement logging, one Pillar, stats over 4-week and 12-week ranges, and your daily coach card with its morning briefing. The morning briefing is included for everyone and is never metered.

Missions, free for your first 90 days. Missions are available at no cost for 90 days from when you start using Ankh on a device, whether or not you subscribe. After that, Missions require Ankh Pro.

What Ankh Pro adds: AI analysis of your dashboard and of any training day; food and supplement label scanning by photo; the AI Analyse button inside a Mission; three Pillars instead of one; stats over 6-month and 1-year ranges; your full PR history archive; and the AI signature line on share cards.

Ankh Pro: Additional features are available through an auto-renewable subscription:

• Monthly: $14.99 USD per month in the United States
• Yearly: $99.99 USD per year in the United States

Prices outside the United States: Prices in other countries are set by Apple in local currency, based on our United States price and adjusted by Apple for exchange rates and local taxes. They may differ from a direct conversion, and Apple may change them. The price that applies to you is always shown in the App Store before you confirm any purchase.

Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or through the Manage Subscription option in the app's Settings.

Free trial: Ankh Pro is offered with a 14-day free trial on both the monthly and the yearly subscription. The trial is an Apple introductory offer, which means three things you should know before you start it:

• You subscribe first to begin the trial. Starting it requires a payment method on your Apple ID and your agreement to automatic renewal. The trial is not granted simply by installing the app.
• At the end of the 14 days the subscription automatically renews at the full price shown to you in the App Store, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial and keep access until it expires.
• Apple allows one introductory offer per subscription group for each Apple ID. If you have used a free trial for Ankh Pro before, you will not be offered another one.

During the trial you have the full Ankh Pro feature set. If you purchase a subscription before a trial has finished, the unused portion of the trial is forfeited.

Price changes: Prices may change. We will notify you in advance of any price increases. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Health Data Disclaimer

Ankh is not a medical device. The app is designed for informational and motivational purposes only. Data displayed in the app (including recovery scores, sleep analysis, strain, and AI-generated insights) should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your exercise, nutrition, or supplement routine based on data shown in the app.

AI-generated insights and coaching recommendations are based on pattern recognition in your data and may not be accurate or appropriate for your individual circumstances.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or services
• Share your subscription or API keys with others
• Use the app to generate misleading health claims

7. Intellectual Property

The Ankh name, logo, and app design are our intellectual property. You may share cards generated by the app (which include the Ankh watermark) on social media and personal channels. You may not use the Ankh brand, logo, or design elements for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

Ankh integrates with third-party services including Apple HealthKit, Anthropic (Claude API), and Supabase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ankh and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, health outcomes, or any other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the app.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that health data will be accurate or complete.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
